Hey guys,
I usually bet on stats and Chelsea so I would like your input on several matches that are on my mind for the weekend.
Middlesbrough - Stoke 2x @ 2.47
o2.5 @ 1.92
On paper Boro should win this easily and they have put in 2 good performances so far. However I find that mid table teams are erratic and there is abit of value in the above bet.
All the games involving Boro and Stoke this season have gone over.
Bolton -0.25 - WBA @ 1.80
I don't think that Bolton are that good, but WBA haven't looked sharp at all. I don't know what to make of their midweek Carling Cup loss as i did not follow it.
Everton - Portsmouth @ 2.20
You can't really blame Portsmouth for a poor start given their fixtures, but Everton are a very decent team, especially at home, and have won this fixture for 2 seasons running, putting 3 goals in the net each time.
Hull - Wigan U2.5 @ 1.68/ U2.25 @ 1.88
Both teams are rather impaired in attack.
Sunderland - Man City @ 2.23
Djibril Cisse has been a good signing, while i read that they have also bought Rio Ferdinand's brother (the forum banned the word A-ton, anyone knows why?). Roy Keane has been able to get rather good players (considering he manages Sunderland) and i believe this will continue if Sunderland can continue their fine performances.
On the other hand, Man City look rather down and out, after what happened to their owner Thaksin. There have also been comments by Garry Cook (CEO) about Mark Hughes being "old school".
Will also take a look at Chelsea, but will only play if the odds are good.
Sunderland and Everton are the 2 matches that caught my eye from the start.
Would appreciate comments from you guys for these 2 matches and the rest as well, thanks!
